I found that to utilize the vector properties, I had to create them in PaintSupreme. Again, I suggest using the information in the Help menu to see how creating vectors and applying rasterizing properties such as the Paint Bucket work. Working with vectors and adding rasterizing properties is another unique addition to this program which expands its scope. I have written a tutorial on working with layers. This was not a problem at all once I understood it. When you pasted into it, a new (blank) layer was created above it. Here I discovered that when you wanted to paste into a new layer, you had to add a new layer and highlight it. I was used to cutting or copying and automatically pasting into a new layer. (See Tool Bar Settings in the image below.)Īs I tested a number of the options, I did run into one that was a little confusing. There are also settings directly under the main menu for many of the tools. I will highlight a few tools and their settings so you can see the large number of choices available. This icon is probably the most powerful of all because it shows all the tools' settings that can be used. menus or through short cuts such as Transform, Color Balance, etc. You can access them from the top of the toolbar either through the File, Edit, etc. The number of manipulation choices is excellent. I don't actually know how many steps you can have in the History, but I had over 10 at one point. Layers, for me, is a very important aspect of any image editing program. (I do not plan on comparing it to Photoshop, but I like to see what type of files I can open and how they will appear). The first item I noticed on the interface is that it will not only accept layered PSD files, but will show the layers so that you can work on them. It includes many of the important tools found in expensive programs as well as including the capability to create and work with vectors.

It costs only $19.99 and is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. It allows the user to manipulate the controls as well as use some automatic ones. PaintSupreme from BrainDistrict is an excellent buy for those who want to use an easy, intuitive image editing program which is also powerful. In my reviews, I often, also, write small how-tos.

With that in mind, one has to look at other points of interest such as program cost and ease of use as well as learning curve. I have been using Adobe Photoshop for those 20 + years so I naturally come from that perspective. I have reviewed many image editing packages in the 20 + years I have been reviewing. Various source formats dxf, dwg, dwf, dwfx, plt, hg, hgl, hpg, plo, hp, hpl, hpgl, hp1, hp2, hpgl2, gl2, spl, svg, cgm.I usually like readers to know my perspective or "where I come from" in terms of reviewing.Converts CAD files into PDFS, JPEGS, DXF, BMP, CGM, HPGL, SVG, PS, and SWF.

I give this software a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars because there is always room for improvement. Turning CAD files into images has never been easier than now with this software.

Being able to merge the files with this tool is a plus because most CAD converters just convert the file into PDF, SVG, but sometimes you have to merge several files into one and then is when this software comes in handy.

This feature is really useful, and I have to say it's my favorite feature of the software it allows me to merge all files into one pdf file, and this is great for presentations, looks really professional. This software is great when they want to convert multiple files and then combine them into a single file. The tags of the formats available are also pretty clear, and this is good because it keeps you organized. You can view all of the CAD files in a folder and then select them or unselect them according to your needs. I like the interface of the software it's clear and easy to use. It will save you a ton of time and resources and will make your life a lot easier to take it from someone who has struggled with this before. If you work managing CAD projects, then this tool is definitely one of the best choices in the market.

I am currently using the free trial that is valid for 30 days, but I am thinking about buying the license once the free trial expires. The main advantage of this converter is that it implements all formats into one tool and tits really easy to use. I use software such as AutoCAD and Civilcad a lot as well as Watercad and Sewercad for my job, and it can be tricky to convert some of the files into a compatible format. I am an engineer, so this software has really made a difference in my daily activities. Total Cad converter is an excellent choice for anyone who manages CAD software.
